My response to the question: Why Do You Do What You Do? could only be accurately depicted through photographing people in my life who I value. I use art to express my values and motives. I view the people I love as inspiration and see beauty in each and every one of them. My goal is to use photography and art to make the people around me feel confident. This project shows the true power of both beauty internally and externally.

For the creation of this project, I used a Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FX100 to capture my portrait images and Adobe Photoshop to enhance images and overall design. I incorporated black cardstock paper with prints of the portraits to add a tactile element to the work. Integrating physical aspects allowed for my digital creations to come to life, transforming the project into a more dynamic experience. This fusion of techniques not only deepened my connection to the work but also allowed it to reflect my personal vision in a meaningful way.
